December 2006 Program Announcement:
A Sustainable Future for Hawaii
"Looking to Hawaii's Past to Insure a Sustainable Future: Marketing Hawaii and Hawaiians-at what cost?"

Ramsay Remigius Mahealani Taum is founder and president of the Hawaii based Life Enhancement Institute (LEI) of the Pacific LLC, and co-facilitator (co-executive director) of Sustain Hawaii, a not-for profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable living and development in Hawaii.

He is currently the Director of Community Outreach and Special Assistant to the Dean on Host Culture and Community Affairs at the University of Hawaii (UH) School of Travel Industry Management (TIM) at Manoa.

A recognized cultural consultant, lecturer, trainer and facilitator, Ramsay also works with Hawaii's travel, leisure and retail industry where he integrates Native Hawaiian cultural values and principles into contemporary business. Mentored and trained by respected na kupuna, he is a practitioner and instructor of several Native Hawaiian practices including ho'oponopono (stress management and conflict resolution), lomi haha (body alignment) and Kaihewalu Lua (Hawaiian combat/battle art).

COST:
$30 PRSA member $40 non-member $25 PRSSA Student

PARKING:

Harbor Court Municipal Parking
$0.75 per half hour up to 2 hours; thereafter $1.50 per half hour

The Plaza Club
$5 for 2 hours validated parking
Pay cash at the door for parking validation; thereafter,
$2.50 per half hour paid to booth attendant upon departure
