Some of his agency's clients include Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, Prince Resorts Hawaii, Architects Hawaii, Catholic Charities and the USS Missouri.

NEAL YOKOTA, president and chief executive officer of Stryker Weiner & Yokota, is one of Hawaiifs foremost public relations consultants on issues management, crisis communications, risk communications, coalition development and strategic communications. He has counseled clients dealing with some of Hawaiifs most controversial issues including geothermal energy, rapid transit, the Waiahole Ditch Contested Case Hearing and many other land use and environmental issues. Yokota also counsels numerous clients on community relations, marketing communications, promotions and publicity. RUTH ANN BECKER is founder and president of Becker Communications, Inc., which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Her career experience covers twenty-nine years in public relations; and four years in magazine editorial. Whereas Ruth Ann's earlier years were focused on promotional p.r., her primary client-service focus today is on corporate communications, community relations and issue management. She has provided strategic counsel for clients dealing with issues in such areas as land development, unions, oil industry, government, environment, litigation and Hawaiian affairs. She has also developed and led successful ballot-issue campaigns.
