Rob is the Public Relations Director at the Harris Agency – Hawaii’s third largest advertising agency – helping various clients develop comprehensive communications programs.
He is a PR practitioner taking a results-oriented approach for each and every project. Rob enjoys maintaining close working relationships with clients and members of the local news media.
At the Harris Agency, he works with clients spanning various industries including, quick-service restaurants, non-profit, retail, health & wellness and travel.
Rob and his team have orchestrated several notable campaigns including, Burger King’s statewide music competition - Band Champ, forming a fundraising partnership between KFC Hawaii and the Hawaii Foodbank and launching the Grand Opening of the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa’s – Cirque Polynesia.
Rob began his career in travel public relations working with journalists from around the globe on behalf of the Oahu Visitors Bureau.
Eventually he moved to New York City to specialize in healthcare public relations for several Johnson & Johnson companies. While in New York, Rob garnered media coverage in the nation’s most respected news organizations including, The New York Times, USA Today, TIME, The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal and NBC's “Today” show.
Rob was born and raised on Oahu and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is also a frequent guest speaker for SCORE Hawaii.
