Donda Spiker, APR

Donda Spiker, APR, is Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at Kuakini Medical Center, a subsidiary of Kuakini Health System. She oversees community relations, internal and external communications, media relations, crisis management, marketing, media production and graphics and design for the entire Health System. Donda has been a member of the Kuakini Health Care Team for more than a quarter of a century.

Prior to joining Kuakini, Donda worked at the American Heart Association and the Honolulu City and County Department of Parks and Recreation. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has a degree in Journalism.

Donda is the Accreditation Chair of the Hawaii Chapter of the Public Relations Society and welcomes inquiries from PR professionals who are interested in becoming accredited or just want more information about the accreditation process.

Donda was born in San Diego, California and moved to Hawaii when she was five years old. She is a weary and fun-loving mother of 3 sons, a husband, a cat, a rabbit and a crazy turtle.
